DESCRIPTION:Finale and Encore\nDeath and Resurrection in Luke\, and John \nThe death of the Christ seemed final enough. “Encore” comes from the Latin phrase hinc ad horem meaning “from then to this hour.  We are living the encore. \nIn Advent we studied Original Stories\, the early chapters of each of the four gospels. Now in Lent we’ll the study the passion narratives in Luke\, which we’ll hear at Mass on Palm Sunday\, and John which we’ll hear on Good Friday. The appearances of the Risen Christ follow\, giving us our new mission.
