Much trauma healing is done with persons who physically survived their trauma but subsequently suffer emotionally from its effects. Others die because of trauma but make their way into the afterlife. There is a large body of literature about the Near Death Experience (NDE) which describes the experience of human consciousness being separated from the body for a time. The sensation of floating above an operating table or an accident scene is common. So is movement through a tunnel or toward an attractive light. Meetings with deceased loved ones or religious figures sometimes occur while moving along a path. But at some point, NDErs turn back, reenter their physical bodies, and continue with their lives on this plane.
Eighteen years ago I began being asked to help persons who physically died from their trauma but who did not transition fully into the afterlife. With the help of a series of prayer partners, I have helped more than 200 “stuck souls” who had chosen isolation to move along. When invited, some loving companion emerges to help these folks who have had what I call an Interrupted Death Experience (IDE). This process will be described in detail in my upcoming book.

With that said, I am a Catholic priest with a lifelong practice of praying for those who have died. My services aren’t available for anything resembling psychic readings, but I can make myself available in person or by phone or video call to speak more about this process.
